Our Story

2005

The beginnings

Kronobar, born from a passion for running and nutrition, was founded in Quebec in 2005 by Rose-Marie Jarry, who discovered racing in her youth. Using her pastry training at ITHQ, she created healthy energy bars. Launched in 2011, Kronobar quickly gained popularity.

2010

The rise in popularity

As demand grew, retailers like La Cordée, Avril, and Sail showed interest. Kronobar partnered with a Montreal manufacturer, combining sports nutrition expertise with industrial production to create Canada’s only 100% natural, allergen-free performance bars.

2015

The arrival of Rekarb

Founded by David Lafontaine, Rekarb had been crafting maple syrup-based energy gels since 2015 when it crossed paths with Kronobar. Sharing common values, the two brands merged seamlessly, expanding their range of natural, healthy products for athletes.

2022

Kronobar and Rekarb become… Krono Nutrition

While staying true to its values, the brands evolved into KRONO NUTRITION with a new logo, packaging, website, and improved bar recipes. The redesign reflects a clean, natural look that highlights the quality of its ingredients.
